@UnMicD: While these proprietary properties may never be compliant, when used in context with the border-radius property to provide graceful degradation, border-radius will be standards compliant and Chrome will more than likely still render rounded corners incorrectly.
@joeld: it's also used by Firefox, -moz-border-radius and Konqueror, -khtml-border-radius. It's not the same as _IE-hack or *IE-hack in CSS.
