Bungie’s primary goal is to keep their daily user count up. If they can show that to Activision, then there’s no arguement that Activision can make that they aren’t meeting their primary metric.

It’s just as underwhelming with multiple players there. I just finished about 45 min with 6+ guardians in the forge and while it was a cake walk it wasn’t like the rewards really justified us being there.

Don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this, but while the Omnighoul strike will drop decrypted engrams above your level, the 320 strike playlist seems to be dropping decrypted engrams about 100 light BELOW your level.

As a man and someone that doesn’t particularly care about fashion I enjoyed this more than I should have.

I think I speak for everyone when I ask: Why did you do this Jason?

I’m loving the quick menu. It remembers the last thing a user did so if you’re constantly switching between users* you don’t have to constantly dig through menu options...switch user is already highlighted the next time you bring up the quick menu! That's a smart UI design.

I like that not only will Sony have to face down an angry mob over mods, but they will also see a modded out boat-bike.

I own the game on PC, but would prefer to play on a console because it’s living room vs. office. I think, traditionally, PCs are relegated to offices while consoles (due to their smaller form factor) normally get a spot in the living room.

Well I say Sony can go fuck itself then.

But the real question is, did you preorder?

The iPad Pro totally functions as a graphics tablet with the Apple Pencil. I pretty much do all my artwork on it using Procreate...and the extra screen real estate goes a long way.

Honestly, I think Sony is in a blind rush to be the first console VR with this thing, before VR has been proven to be anything beyond a fad - like motion controls and 3D before it.

I get the whole “don’t eat eggs in observance of non-violence” angle. That’s cool. You do you guys.

As any sport evolves it’s natural that you’ll progress beyond a small community setting and move into a more professional process with some clear organizational lines...so that an even larger community can continue to enjoy the sport equally.

I always considered most gamers introverts by nature. That’s probably not the case with streamers, but it’s still conceivable to me that at least some FGC players would actually lose energy, necessary for performing at their very best, when constantly surrounded by a crowd.

Yup, this perfectly sums up when modern RPG systems meet player motivations.

I’ve noticed you get about 75% more salt when you post anything about FFXV. On behalf of all normal, well adjusted adults, sorry bout that Jason.

If you don’t explicitly hype a game, but people hype themselves up into a frenzy anyway, are you still responsible for the resulting level of hype?

2014...2016. I keep looking at those two numbers, and damnit if they aren’t different every time I do. It’s like they’re two different years with whole giant chunks of time and events in between them.
