What really had me messed up was when I got into South hall, where I ran into two guys at the catwalk leading to West. They were handing out pamplets, and talking about the end times, so I was kind mad to get more of the same as I did outside. Read through the pamplet and had a good laugh when I got to the Resident

I usually don't reply to posts, but when I do, I put my flame suit on, so here goes...

Same here. I won't be satisfied till they bring the old Dante's back. Not that I see that happening, anytime soon.

I was pretty impressed with Nintendo's booth layout this year. Last year they had a ton of lines and a really restricting layout, which made it so stuffy you just wanted to tear out of there. No real lines made it easy to review all the content and actually see what was in the works for the Wii U. The ladies working

I hear ya. I miss the days of UO. In the pre-shard days the guild of rangers I joined wandered about trying to aid fellow citizens of Britannia and hunted down the PKs who wandered the wooded areas around the big cities. Long Live RSB!

As an addendum to this, do you plan on running Linux? nVidia has had Linux driver support for quite some time, while AMD is playing catch-up really fast.

Any advice for indie developers, specifically on choice of game engines or tools? I've have been considering Blender3D for character design, but am developing on Linux, which has limited choices in mature 3D engines that are low cost.

Tell me about it. I had to ditch Netflix because of no Linux support. Strictly Hulu+ and Amazon Prime now...

Oh my.... this needs to be a poster on my wall!

To mend and defend! If I wasn't into programming before watching this show, I was after. Wish they made more stuff like this.

If you like this, you'd probably like the Batman/Superman 'Super Bat' story. Batman with Supe's powers is awesomeness.

I agree that OpenGL support is not quite at the same level as DirectX. It becomes pretty painfully obvious running StarCraft II under Ubuntu. However, if Valve is developing its own game platform or something of the sort, it stands to reason they are probably building their own API to go along with it.

What's really ridiculous is that they still expect to get 60 dollars. You hit it on the head: If the industry is really moving towards a state where you "rent" content temporarily, there's no way they can keep charging so much for it.

I'd tell you you're wrong, but I'm too busy looking at the awesome guns...

This is what I see...

I doubt they would have got 4 games if he looked the way he does now. Half of enjoying a game is being able to connect with the character. This guy is half demon how? Might as well have put him in a leotard in the last picture. He is so not badass...

I'd say they were ahead of their time. Quite a few criminals on Wall Street these days :P

Origin used to be the name of an epic game studio that EA gutted. I'd say they're pretty damn evil.

I guess if they're prepared to lockdown the next gen PS, they may want to consider a Spotify/iTunes/Zune subscription service so people (myself included) have a low end entry point to play on the cheap.
