An easter egg on a billboard in the background is more likely a visual effects guy’s doing than anything the writers came up with.

Maybe. Too bad there wasn’t a show or movie to explore that. Nemesis could have, but whatever.

Not quite. The Romulans had cloned Picard during the period they were dormant (pre-TNG). According to the timeline of Nemesis, the policy change that led to them ending their isolation led to them abandoning the cloning project. Shinzon was sent to die in the mines of Remus but instead led a revolution of the Romulan

Disco’s Klingon to Human subplot was so bad they dropped it faster than third-period French. And the weird thing about that was that it was an actual captured human who was stuffed with the Klingon’s personality or something dumb. So he would show up as human. The other weird part of that is that if they needed a

I get that there could be some lingering concerns over the Romulans, but to suggest abandoning the Federation for helping them? Like, if a massive volcano suddenly swallows Moscow and the rest of Russia had a humanitarian crisis, I doubt California and New York would threaten to secede if the U.S. government wanted to

It seemed like the Commodore was giving orders to the other operative about not using her brother for the op. So it’s a bit confusing. Who is manipulating who, and such? She might have cut off her ears if she needed to appear more human to make it easier to infiltrate something else she needed to get into, but did she

The biggest one was probably the Gem of Amara episodes, where Spike finds the ring that gives Vampires invulnerability on Buffy, then Buffy sends Oz to give it to Spike, and on Angel Spike and Oz show up and Angel and Spike fight over the ring. And there are a bunch of crossovers with Faith going back and forth on the

Is it a Vulcan or a Romulan spy posing as Vulcan? And then the other operative seemed to refer to her has Commodore Oh, which is a human name of Asian origin, which seems to reference the nationality of the actress playing the Vulcan, rather than the species she’s playing. It’s a bit confusing.

I wonder how many “Star Trek” fans will be put off by the scene between Picard and the fleet admiral if only for the questions it raises regarding the prime timeline and the writing staff’s understanding of it and the source material they’re supposedly following up.

The DS9 team basically made “Battlestar Galactica,” moved on to “Outlander,” and are now on “For All Mankind.”

No special boxed sets, but what Warner did do (for the American releases anyway) was they put all the episodes of the previous crossovers of the Blu-rays of each show for that season, but not on the DVD. So the DVD-only version would just come with that show’s episode of the crossover, and you’d have to buy all the

At first I thought they said the glowing ball was an “Orb of Thesulah” and wondered if there was a vampire who needed his soul back.

Not only did Ollie die, but then his ghost died too. He’s super-dooper double dead.

It seems the new Sith teacher character would have tied into other aspects of the film that involved Kylo and Rey exploring the source of the power of Jedi and Sith, and thus expanding on the mythology of the Force that has been growing throughout the films. It would have been an interesting flip-side to the Luke-Yoda

The fact that he simply wrote his name on the Paragon sheet over Superman’s logo was hilarious. Then him casually putting the sheet back in his pocket, sublime.

And they had “Jinn” on “Earth 2" which had already been destroyed.

Hard to say with these shows. I wouldn’t be surprised if the showrunners thought what they were presenting was more epic and significant than how it actually came across. I too was surprised by how underwhelming the scene was. I guess we’ll have to see how the rest of the miniseries plays out, not to mention the

I agree the advantage of doing it within the preexisting shows means that, if they work it out correctly, then some of the characters only get used within the chapters that take place within their own shows.

I understand why they don’t do the separate miniseries, I just find it annoying from a classification and aftermarket standpoint. (At least the Blu-rays for each show provide all the episodes. The DVD versions don’t and I wonder if that means that Oliver dying won’t even be on the DVD of his own show).
