I don’t understand why we don’t see Chrysler, Toyota or Honda using their van offerings as a platform for a flatbed or pickup for the US market. One would think it would be a successful venture. The engineering, frontal crash testing and emissions testing are all in place. Even the car based pickup has merit in that

Here’s some important questions:

So GM cribbed the F-150 taillights?

Just check out this Auction house. They are running a “high line” vehicle auction but they cannot put up photos that have the cars in the correct proportions. Just look through the non “high line” choices in the auction for new shapes and sizes of existing models.

I also took care with the initials given to the offspring. I nixed R.A.G. for our youngest daughter because I HATED being mocked when I made an error mixing car paint at my first job and the assistant manager kept saying paint by “deg.” WTF did they want?  I was 17 and had never done it before.  Eff that guy! Thirty

My wife is named Tobie. Her mom decided that she deserved a special name. She is often called Jody, Judy, Trudy and because she was never svelte, tubby. People can be cruel.

Original wheels bent and suffering curb rash, transmission trashed and “average” condition tell me that this thing is one day away from another major failure.

I’m old enough to remember when “the answer is Roadmaster” was a thing on Jalopnik. Then the #MiataManiacs came along and stole our answer.

Twelve grand with transmission problems and a shabby interior? No thanks.

Mmmm! Marshmallow Fluff! It is so hard to buy the real Fluff in Nevada that when I visited my parents in July, I bought a 32 ounce tub of the stuff to bring home.

Not just no, Hell no! I owned an 01 Jetta TDi. What a wallet draining experience that thing was.

That is something! Exactly what, I’m not quite sure but it is something.

First we replaced belts and tensioner that was screeching. Then i had the fuel leak repaired and cooling system flushed. Now they’re rechecking the fuel system.

I had an 80 Volare Premier Wagon from 94 - 97. It was cavernous. My biggest complaint was the fact that it was old and I got what I paid for it. $500. Tough to complain about a running car for $500 that lasted for 3 years. I’m still buying crappy used cars. I just bought two Plymouth Grand Voyagers (‘98 & ‘99) for

Five speeds, four cams and two doors.

My wife bought a 98 CR-V in 2001. We still have it. My daughter had one but someone hit it and I have it for a parts car. And.. I bought a 2001 CR-V in 2016. We’re fans and the CR-V is decent for driving into the desert.

As a Nevada resident, I would rather see all cars that are equipped with air conditioning include ventilated seats. I have never had the pleasure of ventilated seats but after living here since 1994 I can attest to the amount of sweat a person produces when sitting in a car in or around Las Vegas.

Small windows with high doors. I know it is a “look” but visibility suffers.

Reverse slalom, search for “Canada’s Worst Driver.” It is painful to watch those knuckleheads bashing some interesting cars with no regard. I don’t know how “real” that show is, though.

My daily driver ‘91 approves.
