Wow, just wow.
Wow, just wow.
As the newest vehicle on our lot is my daughter’s wrecked 99 CR-V, I haven’t been so successful selling those likes.
I like it and would love to daily drive it but I don’t like it thirteen thousand five hundred times.
My eight year old self loves this and remembers how much I wanted one when they came out but fifty year old me asks how I could justify spending half the sum spent to purchase our house on a fun car?
Mrs. v8corvairpickup and I have debated this notion many times. She is on the side of lower limits and I’m (a gearhead) on the side of higher limits. While we agree that there are places in which the limits are clearly much too high there is a huge divide in our opinions on where the limits are too low. In our…
Regarding the price, I’d have to ask the seller if he’s ever heard that song by Aerosmith? It was called “Dream On.”
It looks a bit like a bland Wagoneer but for the price, four and a quarter thousand dollars make it grand.
VIN number and ATM machine may be redundant but they are often used. I’ve never heard them referred to as a VI number or AT machine.
With the slab side look, this may have been nice if a 60's Continental had been used.
Was Johnny Cash working the line, snitching a part a day from the shop? Supplying the mish-mash of parts for this weird car.
Great GIF!
The obvious solution is daytime taillights.
I had an ‘87 Taurus that needed replacement of nearly every major piece at least once (the transmission took the Ford dealer three tries to get it repaired correctly). I was glad that we bought the extended warranty. And then there was my 01 Jetta TDi. I should have bought a brand new car instead of that money pit.
Right, trying to sell me something that I really don’t need or cannot afford.
I totally get the necessity of the closed course disclaimer but sometimes it seems to have spun out of control. I’ve seen ads with vehicles driving in a safe and controlled manner with the closed course disclaimer. It just bugs me that we have to warn people that hot coffee is actually hot and to not imitate the…
This almost seems to be misleading the buying public. I’m neither swayed by “action footage” of a car nor impressed by the “professional driver on a closed course” tag but I think that if they’re selling something, the actual thing should be what is shown in the ad and not a cgi impression of it.
As much as I loved driving my ‘01 Jetta Tdi, I hated the expense of mechanical repairs. Injector pumps cost around the same price as this car and even with the fuel savings, this car will be a money pit.
I think the time has come for our politicians to reverse course. We need to apologize to the NRA, gun manufacturers, ammunition companies et al for stopping the sales of “weapons of war” to the public.
Mitsubishi also sold the L300 in the US. Yet another van with the engine under the driver’s seat.
Yep, the above statement is correct. For five years I owned a 2001 Jetta TDi. If I had bought a new car (any new car) in 2009, I would have spent less than I did on that Jetta. The car drove well, got great mileage and loved to empty my wallet. It only had one electrical issue, the clicking flasher problem but I paid…
