Up hill and/or headwinds will keep my speed at about 55. Real steep hills 45. Mountain passes, 15 mph...passing a semi on I 25 south into New Mexico on the Raton Pass. That was the slowest hill we've encountered.

My wife bought one new. I rode in it a couple of times. It was a tiny car compared to my 85 Escort but she never had trouble with it aside from the collision that killed it. She had it a couple of years and it was hit head-on at about 35 mph. She walked away unhurt.
