There are "Sunrader" models that are about 4 feet shorter and have a fully molded fiberglass body. Some were built on the 4wd chassis or had the Toyota Diesel engine.

I have no clue about the axle ratio and the basic dash has no tach but I will say that the transmission has an elevation sensor that locks out overdrive above 3000 feet so it really screams.

I can get it going 70 but I'd rather not do that. It handles pretty well considering what it is and I can park it in regular parking lots, too.

It doesn't like hills or headwinds but we've gotten 11 - 16 mpg on our 3 cross country trips. The best part is that it does everything I need it to do. It may not be new or fancy but it gets us there.
