I have a TDi Jetta, zero ground clearance (ok maybe a few inches...I drove down a dirt road and cracked the oil pan.) I think the engine is a tall design and may encroach into the cab. Nice torque curve and decent power though. It could be an interesting swap if you could put the engine on a slant.
