Murano convertible? I think it's worse than a Solara convertible. Just isn't right.

If an auto manufacturer were to do the same thing today, it would be like launching a completely new full line auto division or brand. The Corvair covered every part of the market. Coupe, sedan, wagon, panel van, passenger van, pickup and RV chassis. Nobody has the guts or is crazy enough to do this in modern times.

My first new car was an 85 1/2 Escort L. "L" meant that it had an AM/FM stereo radio, cloth seats, rear defroster. I paid $6850 for it in May of 1985. I had it until December of 1993. I beat the snot out of that little car for 113k miles. It didn't owe me anything.

MT, check. Diesel, check. Wagon, check. CP, check!

I'm voting NP even if I think I wouldn't pay $35k for it. It is a nice example of a rare car with unique features. I admit I'm a sucker for the "breezeway window" too.

No turbo makes the price a bit too steep, so for a "breaking news" first. I declare it a double crack pipe. The crazy pickup from the past is CP regardless of the color

Seems to be a relatively low cost of entry for a V8 and MT.

Wild car! I can see the headlines. Man builds "Frankenmiata with two hearts.

Bimmer, Bimmer, Sheen Dinner. NP, too.

Beautiful! NP. To think that my '93 Roadmaster sold new for about $25k makes me think that this is priced right.

$5500. If I had the cash and enough left over for upkeep, I would jump on it in a second.

Without claiming any political affiliation, myself. I think that the people in American politics (and the American people themselves) seem to have forgotten that they're working for all Americans. Not just their supporters. Not just the people who've financially supported them. Not just their friends.

It needs to be proximity activiated. If the car ahead/beside senses a distracted operator approaching, lights flash.

So, were you saying that only Twinkies and GM will survive the apocolypse?

I'm partial to the black cherry color used on the Impala SS from the mid 90's.

Anyone here read the book Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure: The True Story of a Great American Road Trip? It was a pretty good read.

There is no question that this is a nice price. Oh, the creativity that went into it.

I would not want this car. Why would they have not gotten the title converted to "rebuilt?"

I'd call this NP.

When I was a kid, a guy would drive by my house in a yellow & black RHD Cricket.
