The "spirit" of the QOTD requires me to answer with: An Apple Car would obviously have no use for windows, it would be sleek without mechanical controls, it would only run on its own network (college students will hack it to run other networks voiding the warranty), the power source would be ineffective for the

Have owned 2 VW's Never owned and Apple thing. Not likely to buy one, either. I own PCs and use my cell phone as a phone, occasionally as a camera and also send text messages ... thats it.

Dean Martin's custom Jag

"John Travolta's Fever Firebird" to put an name on the car. I am ashamed to admit that I built a scale model of this car when I was a kid.

Looks like plenty of fun! 3 pedals, 3 wide seating. Seems like a good NP.

I'm strangely intrigued by the red one. There aren't enough small coupes on the market.

Hmmm. It is overdone but $5500 is almost realistic. Sell the bits I don't like and have a Yota sleeper. NP ish.

I did replace the heater hoses on the Roadmaster. That was an adventure. The great thing about it was that parts are relatively inexpensive and mostly plentiful.

Roadmaster: 227000 miles on the original trans. If my kid didn't wreck it, it would still be a great drive.

Not headaches....adventures!

Personal experience says: Mk IV Jetta TDi * 90 turbocharged horsepower. It likes curves. It has a nice torque curve and it gets great fuel economy for a little car.

Ok, thats a scary bridge!

On Massachusetts rt 141. The Willamansett Bridge over the Connecticut river between Holyoke and Chicopee, Ma. Built in the 19th century. Undergoing a major rehab.

Not a highway bridge. Bardwell's Ferry Bridge in Massachusetts. Last time I crossed, it was a wooden planked deck and the planks were not really secured.

The suck thing about this bridge: When you're driving across, you get no view of the surroundings.

Interesting, but not $50k interesting. Binders aren't all that valuable and he's gone and totally lowered the value of the HO Firebird. No thanks.

Thanks for the offer. I will bypass the pipe, though. I've got a sawzall and if I cut it into tiny pieces, will anyone know that it existed? CP

Can't wait to see Hammond racing these around their track!

I have to think the tank trailer was empty. I can only imagine what the trailer would do with a half full tank. Not only that, the tractor wasn't only a tractor but also a tanker.

Interesting combination but $16-5 seems to be mucho dinero INMHO. CP. I'd prefer the one Hardigree found in Richmond, VA
