I thought the whole point of the Monster line going liquid cooled was because the bigger air-cooled engines were going to have a tough time passing emissions and that the Scrambler was given smaller air-cooled engines because they were not as performance-oriented as the Monster had become.

I lived in TX for 4 years. Sure there are a lot of big cities in for one state, but there’s a whole lot of nothing in between. Most of the state is practically a wasteland. Texas, like that Viper’s livery, is just not as good as the vocal minority claim that it is.

Honestly, you can say that about the styling of a lot of cars from that decade. And I don’t see the cars from more recent years aging very well either.

I served in the military working on nukes. Towards the very end of my service they came out with a nuclear weapons deterrence medal or something like that. I thought it was silly. None of use that did the job were anymore in harms way than anybody else on the base.

I agree. While I enjoyed the movie when it came out, it certainly doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. Episode I gets shit on for being the shittiest of the already shitty prequel trilogy, but it did have the awesome podracing scene and Darth Maul. The two coolest things of all the prequels in my opinion.

As I read through this article, I can’t help but not ignore the fact that someone took the time to criticize a scene in a movie about faster than light spaceships that make sounds in a vacuum and magic space ninjas with laser swords.
