I loved this. The sound, especially. But, I found it a bit similar to the Shell Gasoline/Ferrari “Circuit” advert from a few years ago. And, that’s not a bad thing. (Note: If you have not watched this Shell ad, listen to it AS LOUD AS YOU CAN).

So far, I’m the only person commenting against the use of closed-cockpits. Great.

While I hate to see the tradition of open cockpit racing going away, I do think such important changes must be done with the concent of the drivers. Since they seem to agree that they need these cockpits, I have no problems with such decision.

From what I’ve gathered, Ecclestone is the only reason F1 isn’t a bunch of 4 cylinder diesel hybrids. He’s been fighting FIA over neutering the cars in the name of fuel-efficiency and emissions.
