Ive seen a lot of people feeling this was about speed, and while that may have been part of it, I’d be confident in guessing the sedan crossed the double solid lines into the HOV in front of the Focus. Its shockley common in Toronto. I’m not sure how drivers dont understand you cant do that.

Agreed, I live in a $600,000 1+Den condo in Toronto and we have countless AMGs, M cars, several new RS’s, 800whp C7, GT3RS with work done(I can hear it from anywhere in the building when its started), Bentleys, R8s, a 650s and at one point a Rolls in the parking garage.

Making fun of parent =/= making fun of child.   The parent is a moron who deserves to be shamed for treating their child like a play thing.

I have snow tires on both my cars, the AWD SUV handles better then the 2WD car in the snow.  Bad drivers are going to be bad drivers, but to say AWD does nothing is factually wrong.

It will 100% help your turn on power, as the front wheels can help pull you through the turn while the back still help move you forward. As for braking I see some say it helps, but I can’t figure out how unless it’s a weight thing, but what drives the wheels should have no baring on what stops the vehicle.

In Toronto I see far more EGTs. There are a bunch of Velosters around, but not a ton. I drove a 1st gen, non turbo and it might have the most uninspiring car I’ve even been in, and I learned to drive in a 82 rabbit diesel.

Agreed. I love loud Cars, Bikes, Jets, Boats... if it moves you and it is loud I tend to like... with a few exceptions. Harley’s being number 1.... they sound like utter crap, there is no redeeming quality to their sound.

Move to a better city. Major cities have a TON of supercars. Even on a crappy day it’s rare to not see a couple huracans, a bunch of Astons, countless 911s, a GT3 or 2, F cars all over and so on and so forth.

I love Toronto with all my heart, and hope I can afford to live my lifestyle here for the rest of my life (unless I move to Vancouver) but my God does our traffic suck. We have the most self centered asshole drivers I have ever met. Put your signal on? Well just wait for that driver to rush up to block you. Waiting in…

This is the most “meh” 2 seater convertible in the last 2o...neigh...30 years. Its probably a great car, but the Z4 should drive some sort of emotion, not the feeling of melba toast.

Just for context, there are no spectators at the end of that straight, just more road, there is a pretty long runoff as well.

Youarelooking at this all wrong. This is purely an accomplishment of the best of the best tech doing what it does best... go fast. It’s a “hey look at the cool shot I can do”. The previous record doesn’t mean much, the time they hit would be just as impressive, even without the previous marker.

I saw 3 in Toronto today. Seeing 25% of all cars ever produced in a single day must be some kind of record!
