I think his work with so many women musicians is laudable. But in terms of dancers, actors, video vixens, etc, Prince had serious issues with colorism: almost exclusively casting girls and women - of color, usually - but with light/white skin and straight hair.

Seriously? People complain that weddings are boring? Free drink, music and - generally - people you know. I’ve never had my own wedding but I can say I have enjoyed every single one of the 2o or so weddings I’ve been to - because I really care about the couple and/or I have the social skills to enjoy a free party.
