Except taking your kid to a chiropractor is a really, really bad idea.

If a chiropractor or osteopath is bad it can cause real pain. My osteopath only does manipulation techniques but not extreme ones and she is magic for me. I saw one of her colleagues when her hours changed and he didn’t help me at all.

I know a highly educated woman who is constantly bringing her 5 year old to the chiropractor and I have a difficult time believing chiropractic adjustments are healthy on a tiny person’s developing skeleton. Also, it seems she uses chiropractic for something really weird like helping him digest lactose or something,

Since this story includes the information that a naturopath told them to take their child to a doctor, I don’t see why the animosity towards naturopaths should be appearing in this comments section. Is it the title?

How is this a debate? Adults are competent to choose not to be medically treated if they want. They have NO right to push that choice on a defenseless child. I don’t care how nuts a child’s parents are, the child deserves - is ENTITLED to - a decent chance to at least make it to adulthood.

If you look at the news reports on the day to day court proceedings, the naturopath they saw encouraged them to see a real doctor. The parents (who are huge proponents of the natural/non-vaccination thing, with a stake in a supplement business) chose to continue treatments in their own way. They also had a RN friend

In this case, their naturopath told them to take their child to a doctor. These parents are entirely to blame.

There were 2 reasons I chose our pediatrician, and it was based on negative Yelp reviews.

I know. I wish I had stopped after getting a chuckle from the headline. Sad when you realize it is someone with mental impairment.

I really love the idea of a ghost hook writer using a stolen melody from Cirque du Soleil as his entree into Justin Timberlake’s world, like he finally got his opening and the only thing that jumped into his head was this, so he went with it.

Also...2:30 of the original... yeah. And so much more.

Now playing

Yeahhhhh so @ 4:03 it gets pretty clear...

I have a pretty dark sense of humor, but I don’t know how you read about this and the take away is that you can include a hilarious Namaste pun if you do a write up about it. I mean, yes it was funny. But by the end, I felt like a piece of crap for laughing. How do you then write an entire article just so you can show

I was set to make a crack comparing him to the EgyptAir yahoo, but then I felt the sarcasm balloon deflate as I read the last part.

Yes, but it is an elderly Asian male experiencing the trauma so obviously that made Anna think the whole thing is HI-LA-RIOUS.

Hahaha, people with clear mental health issues are hilarious.

Trump has said that Lewandowski will not be fired even if convicted.

You literally just spun a story about your own miserable life to tear down others for doing the same.

This genuinely creeps me out. She looks 11.

It’s incredibly common. People have this thing where they think they are omg sooo speshul with their blonde hair and accents whilst abroad. Some guy lures them in by telling them they are the most beautiful thing in the entire world, meanwhile he scams them out of thousands and in some cases millions of dollars. Just
