M539 has done exactly that. After rebuilding the engine — twice — he’s now got a B7 that may actually be better than what rolled off the lot. He hasn’t yet said how much he’s sunk into it, but I’m guessing he’s inching close to $100k (for a full restoration).

He already did:

not only does he walk out but absolutely nobody cares. I don’t know how american society deals with this but I know I would have probably ran away if I saw this. seeing soldiers patroling railway station already creep me out very much so imagine seeing a civil like this; people would riot.

Kendall was screwed up so many times over the course of the show, I’m not sure how much you were paying attention if you don’t understand he is completely incompetent.

Maybe the word “idiot” is not helpful in this context. But they are clearly, from the beginning of the show to the end, massively, almost incomprehensibly incompetent.

Not one of them is capable, in any way, of functioning in either the real world or the business realm. Kendall screws up multiple attempts to take over…

I am both astonished and not at all surprised that one could think that riding a moped in violation of motor vehicle regulations is comparable, in any possible way, under any possible circumstances, to the state using a 5,000 pound vehicle in a manner that is extraordinarily likely to kill a man.
