hopefully they will get refresh in September, I'm also hesitant on getting a MBP 15" 'cuz 13" on the MB is too little even thought it is just 2 inches difference, but I think they aren't planning on making the MB15". I may be wrong thought.

1.17GB! that is a really BIG size for a preview update. then again I don't know if that is normal with this type of things but still Kinda big for something that it isn't beta yet.(or is it? but still...)
