I hear ya......but it's not called parallel parking if the spot is 50+ feet long (1:51 mark on the left)

why didn't the camera car just pull into one of the side spots instead of backing up a couple of hundred feet and ultimately getting hit.

the picture of the above bike is causing me some real subconscious anguish. it looks like it's missing a lower crossbar....

yep that was another sedan that had it, so far I only found a handful that do.

congrats, 7 commenters missed the assist but you nailed it. also not all matrixes are driven by college kids....ok....... maybe they are....

so it seems.....hmmm.....should add that to my random fact of the day. thanks

it's not screaming at me but I admit there is a resemblance.

fair enough....but if the deed was to be done, it shall be done with a sense of humo(u)r.

shouldn't this have been done on this

I know the answer....does that help? it's 42 by the way.

well I decided to google it. and the answer seems to be that the design of most hatch's creates a wind vortex that attracts dirt to cling to the back window, while in a sedan it just sticks to the back of the trunk. still doesn't explain most liftbacks though....

doesn't make sense. the trunk lid on a hatchback/liftback is one piece with the glass and the trunk lid so there is no gap yet by a sedan I have snow falling in by the gap between the two. while typing this I thought of that it is to clear the snow so that the lift gate isn't to heavy for the hydraulics to hold up.

as for as I know there are no true sedans (a sedan having a separate trunk) that have rear window wipers. plenty of liftbacks have them such as the toyota prius, hyundai elantra (2000-2006), acura integra/rsx, etc...

I think my dads '92 camry had that to. I noticed it one day when I was in a rush and was eating cereal in the car and needed a place to put the bowl. I wonder why they stopped using that design that the door opens to a flat position like a meal table in an airplane. Most cars now in days seem to have the whole box on

that's what I don't understand. Why is it only hatchbacks/vans that get the rear winder wiper? if it's for snow removal a hatch has a more steeply raked window then a regular car so the snow can just fall off but by a sedan it stays on. shouldn't the sedan get it then?

you're welcome, anytime. Just could you do me a favor? TheDeuceAbides posted basically the same thing about seven minutes before I did ( I forgot to check first), would you mind promoting his comment also?

just leaving this here

possibly, a non-local is probably more likely to pay the ticket then to fight it making them a better catch.
