Christ, I don’t want to hear any complaining. I’m in Madison, and we’ve got you beat by 10 degrees every day next week. Fucking 22 below on Thursday morning, wind chills 40-50 below. They are talking about setting all-time records for cold. My kid has been in school 2 fucking days this week. I love her to pieces, but

He’s a TAX ATTORNEY, he’s doing juuuuuuuust fine. I stand by my original statement. That lady can fuck right off with her complaints. Most people have it worse than she does.

I didn’t stay that my theory made sense, only that it was a conspiracy theory.

You know who I feel the worst for? That poor lady who has a boyfriend who is an attorney. Good grief, I don’t know how she can ever expect to survive on half of an attorney’s salary. Fuck off with that bullshit, and come back to me when you have real problems.

Conspiracy Theory: She knew she was too hurt to play another match, so she purposely lost after she got hurt.

To be fair, nothing that has appeared on Today has been meaningful since at least the mid 1990s. I can’t watch that shitshow anymore. CBS This Morning & GMA are far superior products. And that’s saying something, because neither of them are award-winning journalism, either.

The most shocking thing about all of this is that I had no idea that Roy Halladay was dead. Holy fuck.

I’m in favor of allowing shifts because it usually keeps games shorter, with the 18-inning WS game being the obvious exception. I’m someone who believes that the shift actually encourages hitters to take the easy bases, instead of trying to pull or jack one out of the stadium. If a team is going to put 4 infielders on

That’s a really interesting thought that the .210 hitter can produce more scoring opportunities because of the power aspect. I’ve never considered it. Honestly, I would have tried to construct a roster of .310 hitters with no power, but in considering it now, that probably doesn’t make as much sense.

I greatly enjoyed and appreciated your response, because I think that it touches on the overall state of American sports.

I said it yesterday to Lauren, and I’ll say it here today. I’m a biased Brewers fan here, but after watching him in the NLCS, I wouldn’t touch that guy with a 10-foot pole. What crotchety old white owner wants to have to answer questions in the media about why they signed the guy who can’t run out a ground ball and

Is this legitimately not allowed in the rules? I think it’s pure genius!

Maybe, just maybe some (most) owners and managers don’t want to be answering questions for the next 10 years about why their “superstar” player can’t run out a ground ball, or why he intentionally tries to break people’s legs while sliding into second?

Right. Gronk knows how to do percentages. I’m sure.

.

Jesus H Christ, it took over 3 years to get THAT to stop???? I thought Northwestern kids were supposed to be smart!

Or maybe he just wasn’t into anal?

Sweet mother of Christ, I hope they don’t follow through with that. I saw that yesterday and panicked. They need young and upcoming flamethrowers, not this shit.

As a Brewers fan, I can only say that I saw a very limited amount of Yasmani Grandal games last season. And that sample size was heavily-skewed towards his horrendous NLCS showing. So, admittedly, I may have thrown my phone and said “what in the actual fuck?” when I got the notification that we signed him last night.
