I didn't get it. The name is totally not recognizable. Then when Barry was being put into the machine, I was like "Hey, that is kinda like that thing in….. oh."

I kinda took that scene as Philip being slightly more American than Russian. You know he has had his struggles.
Didn't he convince them by misrepresenting himself? He immediately collapsed as soon as they left and was in a stupor for so many hours that Jimmy could do what he did.
Chuck also partly defrauded Mesa Verde to steal the work from Kim (really Jimmy), who he previously agreed deserved praise. He is a loon and put on a pony show just long enough to convince them he was fully with it.
They were both bitches to each other and then Jessa avoided her. Hannah's inability to take any blame for anything around her was definitely a factor, which seemed to even seep into the psyche of these other two characters.
The original had a story?
Now that I know that, it still doesn't seem all that smart.
Reading your text, I get it now. But when it was said, I thought it was just some legal trivia that he wasn't supposed to be there.
Ending was corny as fuck. The "Conversation" started out fine, but then just became lackluster platitudes, and then the god-awful music started blaring too soon, as if the shot of Chuck simply walking away on an awkward note was super fucking awesome.
I completely disagree with this review. The major failing point that tarnished the episode (and halted season 2 production) is the lack of James Hetfield showing up to give Axe some sage life wisdom that teaches him that it isn't his money that makes him great, but his two competing kids who will inevitably turn out…
It might work if it weren't so damn campy.
Your characterization of the events is quite stomach-churning. If you actually read the other comments, or remembered from the show, Phil originally had this issue come up before when mentioning black women in the media. There is no way that this is being related as a social commentary issue. While I didn't like the…
I guess it's like they say, vanity makes everything funnier.
Hey now. Sometimes Lily's lines have a bit of a lilt to them. You can't deny her that.
Yeah. Never try to break down jokes and why they're funny. Just laugh because you're supposed to!
Nah… she said she could feel Claire's powers somewhere. "BUT SHE WAS DEAD!" Yeah, her fucking BABY HAD HER POWERS. Hence the confusion. Pretty self-explanatory once we got the details.
The Asian jokes are the only thing Lily has going for her, from a 2nd party perspective. She herself has some funny shit when she is bitchy (although her inflection is always too dry), but she can't really be mildly bigoted against herself, especially when she doesn't know any of her own culture.
She did the same thing when she tried to locate Claire. Sure, only an episode back, but it's a good way of explaining how her powers work to locate people.
Lots of extreme terminology being used. Perhaps January Jones is just a bad actor? But even still, you have to be ignoring the script itself to make such claims.
So basically you aren't really giving a critique of the show, just airing your opinion.
