Sonic Colors was alright, Generations was good, Sonic Rush/Adventure were fun, Sonic and the Black Knight was enjoyable at times, and if you could put up with them long enough you might draw some quantity of fun from Riders and Zero Gravity. Sonic Unleashed for 360/PS3 is at worst boring and at best genuinely great.

If we're talking quantity, there are 13 Metroid games (including the GBA remake) and Megaman has more than double that amount if you include the X, Zero, ZX, EXE ,and Starforce series, So Megaman gets much less neglect than Metroid.
