He’s really good in that.
He’s really good in that.
I should be clear, I like Priestly just fine as an actor (particularly in Love and Death on Long Island), but his character in the show is just awful.
I was really sad to hear about this, though it’s obviously been coming for a long time.
The only time I’d ever heard one was when my cousin up in Mackay had one about 25 years back. They weren’t a thing in southeast Queensland
I did that too. Fuck it was so much fun.
This certainly isn’t my experience in Australia. Spider-Man No Way Home, Avatar: The Way of Water and that John Farnham doco that came out last year are the only times I’ve gone to a totally packed cinema since Avengers Endgame in 2019.
I wish I could return to those pre-Covid days before I’d ever heard of this fucknut.
The audience at my cinema for Crystal skull went nuts for those big moments. It was a huge crowd pleaser, at least for that audience. I had so much fun in it, despite having some misgivings about it.
This is my ranking too.
Fuck yeah that scene is a heartbreaker
TUSK!
For me unfortunately it did kill the momentum.
Great actor. His bit in The West Wing where he meets with President Bartlett has always stood out for me.
Oh Christ I can totally picture that happening. And they just wear either regular clothes or a very basic costume until the last episode of the season before getting to suit up for about one scene.
It’s just awful. My mother in law was diagnosed with it during the early stages of Covid (though it was clear she was struggling for at least a year or two prior) and we had to move her into a care home about this time last year.
I spent a solid bit of the first lockdown in 2020 listening to their entire catalogue (along with a lot of Dire Straits) and hearing so much of it after a long, long break made it such an exciting experience.
I was quoting a line from The Simpsons.
Why now? Why not 20 years ago?
An absolute legend who lived a long and incredible life. I was delighted that he got to make that cameo in 2022.
TUSK!
