That’s sad. I enjoyed Designated Survivor and he was one of the more memorable actors on it.

I do for the most part as well. Sometimes shit is just too much.
No it’s based on the book by Trent Dalton who is a Brisbane journalist and author.
As a non-American, I’ve got little in the way of reverence for that country’s founding fathers but John Adams was a fascinating mini-series. Incredible cast aside, what made it stand out for me was that it made them human, faults and all rather than the circle jerk hagiography that plenty of others fall into.
Just an amazing actor. What a career. RIP
It was a show I wanted to like but it just felt like an eight hour lecture to the converted.
Yeah I really liked Routh in the role and even Spacey was ok as Luthor (though I don’t especially like the Donner version of that character).
Say what you will about Man of Steel but at least it wasn’t yet another retread of Donner/Reeve. That slavish devotion was one of the many issues with Returns back in 2006.
I’d largely agree with this list, particularly the top five.
It’s long since been done. I’ve had the first two seasons on DVD since 2006 and the remaining three seasons since 2007-09. They got all the rights to that sorted over a few years back then.
Terrific trailer. Captured my attention in a way I haven’t been grabbed for a while. Looking forward to checking this one out at the cinema.
Great, great mini.
Hopefully! That’s the way I’ve played all the GTAs in the past, so I’ll wait for the PC port.
Weird. I love The Morning Show, it’s always a hell of a lot of fun to watch but Succession is far and away a better piece of television and entertainment.
I appreciated that it was trying to do something different and deeply immersive/serious. And that’s totally fine but it’s also not at all what I’m looking for from the experience. The craziness, the weirdness and the fun is what I’m there for.
I just want it to be fun more than anything and have a sense of humour about itself and the inherent ridiculousness of it all. I love the 3D trilogy and enjoyed V but absolutely did not like IV at all.
This is something I’m super pumped for. Love love love Vice City and to return to that setting in much expanded form again is tantilising.
For real. I rewatched the whole series in 2022 and hole shit Season 3 was exactly as bad as I remembered it being back when it first aired. Brody quite understandably was not enjoying it and clearly, none of the others were too.
My go-to videos when I’m feeling down is either the Succulent Chinese Meal/Democracy Manifest clip, the new glasses/probably misses his old glasses scene from the Simpsons, the John Cheever bit from Seinfeld or any of the Franklin stuff from Arrested Development.
