Seeing the images of those apocalyptic skies brought bad memories of the horror bushfires we had here in Australia in 2019-20.

Those scenes are the best part of that movie. They’re genuinely funny.

Such incredibly sad news.

This is a movie I look back on fondly and was drawn to, even decades before I understood I was Queer and started coming out to people.

I’ve read If I Did It and wow, it’s terribly written.

It’s for the best. AV Club was all in trying to drum up some love for it.

Remember the fawning coverage this show got from the AV Club back in the day and the whole “future of comedy” bullshit?

That’s one of those movies that I remember all the pre-release hype for, the ads, the books in shops etc and then never actually saw it in cinemas. Come to think of it, I didn’t even see it until it was on TV some years later.

For me at least, it’s something I’ve lived with since the mid-90s but spent years doing therapy and various coping things to mask to the nth degree in public.

There was some great songs in this one. Love hearing the Stone Roses classic Waterfall. Brilliant.

I love the sudden zoom-in on Kerry in the background for a split second.

Exactly. Listen to any time Kendall actually talks about what he wants to do with the company or his various ventures - it’s all buzzwords, gibberish and patter which is virtually nonsensical. He’s all surface and no depth.

L to the OG, what a fucking show, what an ending. Easily one of the best pieces of television ever made. I can’t wait to revisit it, with the ending in mind, and see how it all pulls together.

But Ashley is an honourable woman.

I was about to say, I saw him do The Wall in 2012 and they were definitely doing the costumes in that show.

Next time baby!!

There’s a few wild examples of that 60s period of the covers actually coming out days or weeks ahead of the original for various reasons.

Now playing

Natalie at least escaped Ramsay St entirely (though she came back a couple of times, most recently last year) whereas others who made forays into pop careers were...not so lucky.

Such an icon.

I’m reading this now three years later when I’ve finally had a chance to sit and watch this incredible piece of television.
