Me too.

Goddamn do I want to see that movie.

That’s a part of it though - She always claimed she was different and better than those people but turned out to be both exactly like them, and ultimately worse than many.

I agree that would have been interesting. Rewatching the series over a week before the final one aired, it became clear that for all her stuff about breaking the wheel, Dany’s pitch basically came down to installing herself as feudal ruler over Westeros and restorying the dynasty.

Absolutely.

Same here! I fully agree with you.

Me too! It’s a show I’ve got fond memories of and it largely holds up really well on rewatch. I binged it over Christmas last year and it’s good fun.

It’s an incredible performance.

It’s really funny to go back and read some of the reviews from during the show’s run and the utterly bizarre reads and interpretations people took on some of the storylines.

Exactly.

I vaguely recall the storyline but I didn’t remember that bit.

I remember being so excited for it ahead of its release. The covers looked great, the fact that Whedon was writing (and had a pretty good comics track record with Astonishing X-Men) but it was deeply underwhelming and very disappointing.

I’ve really enjoyed it and certainly hope there will be more, especially to see the rest of Dream’s arc with storylines like Season of Mist, A Game of You, Brief Lives and the Kindly Ones.

Urgh. I lasted about 18 months on that thing. What a huge disappointment.

Hahahaha fuck I remember that.

Loved The Practice, from its strong early years through its troubled mid-late seasons and especially the final season.

That’s more or less my view as well.

Fuck I love Peter MacNicol.

And Barry Humphries as Dame Edna, credited as Dame Edna.

That one and the one where Roy walked in her getting off to the video of his emotional retirement press conference both stand out as being incredibly funny.
