Oh yeah absolutely. At its core, the comics storyline is suitably epic in design but suffers from multiple art teams, absolutely massive bloat, that pointless silent issue from Nuff Said month and generally coming across as a very safe, paint-by-numbers Avengers while the X-books at the time were in the opening salvos…

I’m so pleased. This is one of my favourite shows on the air right now.

Would anyone describe the Kang Dynasty storyline as classic?

I’m really excited to see Cox and D’Onofrio again but, given how stunningly padded the 12-13 episode seasons the previous shows were, the prospect of another 18 episodes gives me a bit of pause.

That’s cool. Similar thing, I saw Luke Perry give a talk at a Brisbane convention about 10 years back to an audience of about 15 people and he was a blast. Really funny, self deprecating and charming. And the audience asked some fun questions which weren’t chronically dumb.  

The giddy joy of seeing the TNG cast again is indescribable. Worf! Dr Crusher! This is awesome

That’s incredibly sad news.

Which parts did you feel didn’t hold up?

I mean it’s ok but even at the time of its release it was seen as being a lesser Disney film of its era, below that of Lion King, Little Mermaid, Aladdin etc.

Fuck that’s one of the best Simpsons lines ever.

Another really interesting episode. I’m fascinated to see what is coming next!

Hahaha I have no idea if there is any left now but there actually was a couple of really good ones during the years I used to go up there each summer with my family between the late 90s/mid-2000s.

I found a copy of that in a second-hand bookshop up in Noosa a few years back. It’s very, very poorly written. 

It just sounds impossibly silly and dumb.

I was thinking William Petersen in The Skulls but yeah that works.
