Holy fuck, what a great episode.
Holy fuck, what a great episode.
Here’s Marlon Wayans talking about it on this very site: https://www.avclub.com/marlon-wayans-1798207843
It was one of the Wayans. Robin was in one of the scripts as I recall and was meant to be in the film but it got dropped.
God I love his scenes in that episode! It’s so fun
While this is set in Bali, they actually filmed it in Australia on the Gold Coast, taking over the studio space that Elvis vacated, as well as north Queensland too.
Fuck I love that. It just made me burst out laughing in the middle of my office.
This reminds me, I went down a weird wormhole on Youtube a few months ago while depressed from covering our elections and ended up watching a shockingly large number of episode of the now ultra obscure 1980s sitcom It’s a Living.
Fuck yeah big Rusty.
One of several pointless Tv continuations of movies from the early 2000s - Remember Training Day?
I think I’m a handful of years too old for this stuff because I don’t think I ever saw any of these. We didn’t have the Disney Channel too, so late 90s me was spending most of their time watching Star Trek DS9 or the Highlander TV series.
The slow-motion implosion of the US empire since the end of the Clinton administration hasn’t exactly seen itself covered in glory or holding anything approaching a high moral ground either.
And boy do those fucks love to talk up how fucking special they are with their so-called greatest democracy on Earth.
Another excellent episode and some great music choices too.
I hope it’s Pratt doing a Tommy Wiseau impression.
80s Lakers. So hot right now.
I fucking love Heat and rewatch it at least once a year.
And now you know the rest of the story!
It’s when we bring knifey-spoony out and indulge in such key debates as Holden vs Ford, AFL vs NRL and why John Howard is a huge, huge prick.
He said he was going to be 70 by the time of the next Mars mission (In 1998) so he’s about 65 or so at the point we’re seeing him.
A tiny fun bit of casting - Did anyone else notice that Bragg was played Randy Oglesby?
