I love Kirby’s work and acknowledge its enormous influence on the industry, but there’s been there’s weird over-correction of sorts to the whole Stan Lee thing in the past 10-15 years of deifying everything he did.

Eternals is a concept which has repeatedly failed to catch on over the 45 years or so Marvel have had them.

I don’t think her role was cut down at all in Endgame. Her role was actually shot for that before she actually had shot Captain Marvel.

Agreed. It’s a show I wish had just been a long one-and-done miniseries. Plus randomly turning Peter Coyote’s character into the show’s villain was fucking bizarre.

Oh fuck I had no idea they were rebooting The 4400. I loved that show on its initial airing. 

She was great as Clementine Churchill in. The Crown

I won’t get to see this until tomorrow but I’m really enjoying this show so far and can’t wait to see how it grows and evolves.

For all of Geoff Johns’ bullshit, I’ll always have a soft spot for his JSA and Green Lantern runs for undoing some of the issues from the 90s (the pointless slaughter of the JSA, Hawk and Dove and the mess of Hal Jordan).

It’s not the best show on TV but it’s one that I enjoy watching when it’s on.

I saw Rick Astley open for A-Ha in 2020, about three weeks before the lockdown and it was a fucking awesome gig. Beyond Together Forever and Never Gonna Give You Up, there was a whole bunch of really good songs, including him doing a Rihanna mash-up
