"My parents are really good people-they just are not meant to be together," she says."

That may be true. And I think I shall have to refer to my community from now on as a "hotspot of teen depravity" because that phrase wins.

Trying weed - yes, I agree, not shocking - smoking weed several times a week? To me, that's still pretty out there for 13 year olds but then again I'm just talking about my opinions and observations. Same with the sexual activity - it's not just one or two couples, rather, it appears to be the norm for those who've

I think you're right - there seems to be a culture at each school that kids follow - my daughter switched districts this year and it's even more apparent that her friends at the old district are in general "faster" than the kids at her new district - and that one of the middle schools in the new district seems to be a

I have a daughter who is in middle school - and these kids really do date - it's not just texting each other and saying you're dating - they spend a lot of time together and are physically intimate - some in 8th grade even having intercourse. And based on my observations, the kids who are dating ARE starting to engage

Or her twin sister, who just sits there and rustles the TP like a magic "get out of here so I can take a shit" wand?

I love this so much, but can we add one more small thing? When there are multiple stalls and there's no need to take the one directly next to someone else, be a sport and follow the "one stall of separation" rule. Please?

Instead of feeling guilty about the Cheerios on the floor in the restaurant, pick them up. As a parent of four kids it still amazes me to see parents leaving a restaurant floor looking like a crime scene. It's rude and awful behavior.

Duplicate - sorry.

Kerry or Jennifer? If you mean Kerry, no, I haven't but I don't find that in the least bit surprising.

I lost a bunch of weight on WW about 14 years ago and they asked me to become a meeting leader (I'm fairly outgoing and was a vocal member of my meeting, that's what they look for). I was ridiculously excited until I got all the training materials and realized that what I thought was a motivational role was mostly a

You didn't upset me at all, but you were actually quite rude.

Hey, I didn't correct you until you incorrectly corrected me so I think you need to calm your wrong ass down - I'll just be over here quietly rolling my eyes. As you can see above, Dodai must have noted that she used the word wrong because she fixed it. Anyone who uses "lede" when they mean "lead" has made an error.

It is most certainly NOT correct. A lede is a term used in journalism (and only in journalism) to refer to the opening lines of a story. It doesn't mean "lead" in any other sense.

Hunger Games IS a giant phenomenon - but also, besides that fact that she's the youngest actress to ever be nominated for two Oscars, Jennifer Lawrence is money - every interview she gives is awesome and hilarious. Seeing her face on a magazine means there's a story on her inside that will probably be worth reading. I

"lede" role? Dodai??

You win.

Fellow word-nerd here. You are absolutely correct.
