Agreed, and I don’t. It probably explains why it’s nails on a chalkboard for me. I mentioned in a previous post, but I went to school with kids who learned Japanese to subtitle a lot of Anime in the 80's. It’s second nature.

I’ll also admit I am prejudiced. I went to school (high school) with the first group of kids who spent time subtitling Anime back when people wouldn’t spend money on it. Most of them ended up moving to Japan doing that kind of work.

Sheesh, the dubbed version is awful.

Yeah, except Tony can’t give him Maturity /and Wisdom. Maybe the guidance is making him face these people without the gadgets. He’ll get the wisdom that he doesn’t need them, and the maturity to use them only when necessary.

Fun Fact: When Defamer still existed, the editor and I got into an email exchange about Rattner directing what was then going to be the third X-Men film. At one point he said “If Rattner could, he’d create a hooker mutant whose ability was to turn into a flaming car explosion.”
