It was the over-the-top lines they were given, and the fact that of all the priests they could have found, they happen to find one that decides to be legalistic.
So… Is this show anti-Catholic? Cuz the portrayal of the priest was ridiculous and the characters treated him like shit. Totally unnecessary.
It would have been a nice change of pace to see a portrayal of a competent priest who got dr. Frankenstein to shut up.
I was ver annoyed with the priest's portrayal. It bordered on anti-Catholic, especially with regard to Dr. Frankenstein's behavior. You'd think he'd at least keep his mouth shut given what he's witnessed.
