Ah ha! Which is why Alien 3 is so awesome.Ripley has the most depressing story arc of any movie character ever. She starts off fine, if a little one dimensional, but by the end of the trilogy, (which keep in mind in the movies, it's like one month of waking life for her from movie 1 to movie 3), she looses everything

I saw the Butthole Surfers a few years back, when they were touring as their "close to original" line up. They mostly did 80's stuff which was awesome. They played 30 seconds of Pepper as part of a 5 minute montage of 7 different songs. It was great, and I'm glad they didn't play the whole thing.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you should get the trilogy set first: The Maggot, The Bootlicker, and The Crybaby. It's a great representation of all sides of the Melvins, as well as a good introduction to their "Fuck you very much" kind of humor. The Maggot is a disc of their super-heavy style, The Bootlicker

it had one good song…. but yeah, no where near as good as their other Big Business collaborations, or Freak Puke.

Praise Buddha 'cuz everyone's a hero.

Mclusky set the bar high. I've been disappointed with most of existence after hearing "The Difference Between Me and You Is I'm Not On Fire." It's like having the best possible moment of your life happen to you, and then being forced to keep living anyway. Saddness.

My favorite by these guys was the quickly out of print Polymers Are Forever EP. But everything before and after was goodish too.

I always kinda disliked the idea that the Doctor had only succeeded in killing all his own people, while the Daleks show up twice a season every season forever. I think this twist is pretty great and makes the story more cohesive as a whole.

Moffat actually makes the whole reboot arc make more sense if you think about it. The Doctor didn't kill all the time lords, just shunted them off to some place else and forgot about it. Also explaining why the Daleks were not entirely destroyed. Which is why they keep coming back ad nauseum. The 9th doctor still

They stopped over personal reasons? I thought only bands could do that.
