The Orlando Jones who told everybody he’d been fired when in fact his character was just missing 1 season?

I haven’t had any dreadful technical glitches in Cyberpunk on my PC, but I’d still say I’m going through the motions, maybe doing an hour or two here and there and not sure if they’re all that enjoyable.
I’ve just caught up today on the last 4 episodes of this.
I had exactly that kind of moment the other day. I’m 35 and my colleague 25, and she just stared at me blankly and all I could do was just keep repeating the same name absolutely incredulous that she didn’t know who it was. Which is such a stupid, old person way to act.
Yeah, but I don’t think the way to solve that is to get rid of any white people who have existing jobs like this.
I work in an industry where there’s known under-representation of minorities. Fully supportive of the folks trying to change that (hint: not me, too far outside my role/expertise). Needless to say I’d…
Thanks folks. In London restrictions mean Christmas with the family (and even my girlfriend) is cancelled, so am spending it entirely alone, which is a first. Like most people in this position, I’ll just get drunk, watch films, and eat shit food. Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas, but there’s something nice about…
As someone who never really loved Harry Potter, and was a teen when this came out - I think this article diminishes how well they balanced the enormous expectation at the time while still hooking in the multi-generational crowd, particularly those who had never read the books. I remember my grandparents and parents…
I was sooo ready to answer rhetorical questions with knowledge from next week’s episode. Rule Britannia, God Save the bloody Queen, etc.
It was far more likely to bomb due to being shit.
They’ve pivoted to “nanobots” now. Please keep up with the latest TRUTHS.
It’s weird that Lenny Henry is recognised by an American audience. In Britain he’s known for the BBC’s annual Comic Relief fundraiser (Tagline “do something funny for money!”) which usually involves doing something shit and not funny for money, like sitting in a bath of beans, and going “Ah, but it’s all for charity…
Are there any AVClub reviews these days that don’t contain the word “heteronormative”?
I’m not a fan of the children’s cartoons either, and although some of the characters from the cartoons are appearing, I don’t feel as a casual viewer that I need to catch up on the lore of those series. They’re generally packaged in a way that doesn’t make people like me feel left out.
I thought this episode was just an even shitter version of a Ken Loach film, personally.
I think you are misunderstanding what I’m saying
Gillian Anderson is doing a fine Spitting Image impression.
Because a love story it definitely wasn’t.
Don’t want to sound reductive to the Irish about the Troubles, ever, but I think the issue is that the conflict didn’t define England in the 20th Century, not in the same way it did Ireland. Some of my Irish mates are outraged when I tell them we never really touched on the Troubles in history lessons at school, they…
I think you mean “BIG BEASTS”.
I thought Diana looking at Charles through the plants was a nod to Romeo + Juliet and the fish tank. Somewhat inappropriately it has to be said.
