As you say, the 3DS is selling, so why can't they spread out announced releases of two years ago?

Don't they usually roll things out like this? Big announcements at the beginning of the cycle, and they get sprinkled out throughout it.

When I first moved to Japan (in 2005), one of the first things I did was buy Mother 1 and 2. Couldn't get into it. I bought Mother 3 the day it came out too. Couldn't get into it. Now they're both in my closet, with me always having the temptation to sell them.

Pretty sure the guy who made the games has no interest in making another.

The only issue I can see is where a series is staying around longer than it should not because of sales or artistic merit, but because the company feels they can pump out a few more games within the franchise before is ruined with shit games and no longer profitable, while they could done something else instead.

What if you want to live in a society where your taxes (through a democratically elected body) pay for the children of the society to be able to educate themselves regardless of their class or personal/parent's monetary situation?

If it was taking over every topic I could sympathize, but this is one topic that is easy to avoid, and will be forgotten about in about six hours.

I love board games. I love multiplayer (mainly Wii) games. I like having people over, and being able to do an activity which measures each persons skill and throws a bit of luck in their for good measure so the less skilled still have a chance.

Probably Captain Rainbow for the Wii (in Japan).

For me it was a time and place thing. I didn't like FPS, and I only played games on consoles (save Civilization). This was the first FPS I liked, first four player game I played a lot of, and it had enough of the right stuff to create some really fun memories with my friends.

Hmmm... good point. I think handheld gaming is bigger than console gaming though, so perhaps it still could make a significant impact? I know I'm getting it for Vita and not PS3.

This is the first time the Vita went below 10,000.
