Ahh right, the book is crucial to the game. I forgot about that. That'd be a pain to translate.

It's also interesting that the DS version is not getting localized. The DS has a much huger user base than the PS3, and I'm sure a lot more kids own DS's.
Such a disappointing trend.
It lead to a big discussion which from the outside most likely looked that I didn't win.
Obviously all PSP/PSone Classics will be download. Games will depend on their size. I don't want to buy more than one 32gig memory card (and don't want to delete anything). Probably a game over 2 gigs I'd buy retail.
Where do you get these Japanese sales numbers from? Media create releases them in about 8 hours, is there another group that releases them beforehand?
I ripped into this guy on the patch thing, but I'll be most definitely picking up this game. It's only a matter of it I will do so on my Mac, iPod Touch or Android Phone. Most likely not the latter, and depends on the controls of the first two.
That's awesome. I'm living in Japan, but after struggling through the DS version, I'd love to play the PS3 one in English. Thank-you region-free PS3!
I'd be interested in studying the growth of developing countries' middle classes, and the decline of piracy. It's a huge market, so you think companies/governments would have an interest in curtailing it somehow. I wonder if it could be a status symbol or something.
Shame you didn't get more people angry. You went through a lot of trouble to write that.
That was a standup bit I watched recently I think.
Awesome. Game companies expanding into emerging markets is the future. I can see in 5 years time a game selling over 20,000,000 copies and not even be released in North America (or Japan for that matter).
Alright. It comes across as the lead female dies. (Getting your brains blown out usually entails more than getting shot).
I'm guessing that's a Drive spoiler?
I'm forever grateful for that link. I'll be bookmarking it.
Not to be skeptical, but do you have a link as to how big it was? I've heard no buzz about it, so I can't imagine it breaking out of the gamer market.
Maybe it is nostalgia, but to me those transform from bugs to tricks and secrets, and fun tricks and secrets at that. If bugs in Skyrim are like that, then more power to them.
Any really, it comes because just yesterday I had to download 9 updates before playing Uncharted 2 for the first time. It may have made me a little sore on the subject.
You know, I think you're right. I suppose in my head current-gen bugs were core problems that didn't work. Releasing the game being almost to hone the gameplay mechanics or something. Those types of bugs have always been around, and I was always pretty accepting of them.
Alright, I can live with that. I'll point the finger at the publisher. I still dislike developers being revered, but as you explain, this is obviously not their fault, but the publisher's fault.
