I'm basing it on sales of the 3DS. It sold as good as the DS (even better) and had smart phones as competition.

Of smartphone battling, competition from Sony and Microsoft, and the strong yen, I put this solely on the strong yen. Very simply, if the yen wasn't this strong, they would've had a profit. The others things are near-insignificant.

VC. Thinking about it, a 3D classic would've worked really well with Punch Out.

I may've misled you. The original Punch Out is coming out for the 3DS VC. Not a new version or a version like the Wii one.

Dragon Quest X is coming out this year, and it's most definitely AAA.

I wanted it to be a little more competitive between Nintendo and Sony. I feel silly buying games for the 3DS that I bought on the Wii (Punch Out is coming to the 3DS next week in Japan).

Definitely one of the greatest systems of all time. Perhaps number 3 behind the PSX and SNES.

I will buy it. I'm not 100% happy with my 3DS, but I loved my Wii, and I think the Wii U will be even better (in terms of games, maybe not success).

Now? Really? I'd say if it releases in November, they need to start in June/July for gamers, and September for the general public.

PS2 was a lot weaker than the Xbox and Gamecube.

And I'm assuming much more expensive.

I don't want to be more annoying than the annoying comments and say "hey guys, stop!" (so please continue), but I wanted to say one thing:

Thank-you for saying how you felt! It's a refreshing voice in this time of people bandwagoning onto the "3DS was a guaranteed success" bandwagon.

Hahaha, nail hit on the head.

It's not really just now, but for the last three or so weeks.

Well, for now I'll wait. I wouldn't be surprised if things go in an unexpected direction with regard to TVs in the next few years, so I should sit back for a few years.

What HalomanZero said.

Yup, you got it exactly.

Being able to continue to buy Final Fantasy games and be disappointed is also in the equation somewhere there.

For once, I agree with the headlining quote that everyone disagrees with.
