As someone who has re-watched Daria recently, Jodie is absolutely the most fully fleshed out character outside of Daria, Daria’s family, and Jane. She might not get quite as much screen time as Brittany or Kevin, but that’s because 95% of the time they are just there to say/do something stupid for Daria to react to.

The scene in the trailer of a bunch of tough guy firefighters singing a fucking Jakob Dylan song together in a tough guy firefighter bar told me all I need to know.

I honestly don’t understand people who say they would rather see a new movie on their tv. Just being able to go out and do something different other than watch Netflix again, in a communal setting, is worth it to me alone.

There are some areas of the country where AMC is the only theater chain there is. If they collapse, I can see three possible scenarios:

nah going to the movies rocks and it sucks that we don’t know when we can again, nor do we even know what that experience looks like.

Most local theaters are pretty cruddy. (Not all.) AMC is anodyne, but they usually maintain a level of professionalism in the audience experience that a lot of local theaters never even tried to match. And that’s the central mission of movie theaters, because they’re not the product, they’re the place you can see the

Now ABC decides to break with tradition?

I’m stunned how... watchable this looks. It’s not GREAT, but it’s visually interesting, it’s got some decent jokes that aren’t just decent by ‘Saved by the Bell’ standards.
