He looks like a rust belt mechanic who deals meth and raises pitbulls

Yes, he put up big numbers at QB for Penn State. But so did Christian Hackenberg.

I made the mistake (at work) of criticizing people who buy 100 plastic water bottles a week by saying how ridiculous and wasteful it was/is.

Grabbing a cell phone out of her hand does not constitute domestic violence.

This interview is unreadable and this organization is entirely delusional and misguided. As a professional in the art and museum world I can tell you that these people are obstructionist bullies who have no idea what they’re talking about. Let’s please not give them a platform.

Yeah. I really think we need to get away from the idea that only people who are tangentially connected to a certain group can have anything to do with that group professionally. We need more people of color in academia, the arts, management, etc. we do not need them there so we can ghettoize them into writing/working

Statement from Robert Kraft:

I am uncomfortable with the idea that a person needs to be from a particular racial, ethnic, social, or other group to successfully curate or otherwise have expertise about the art or history of that group. I find that American historians who are not themselves American, for instance, often have interesting insight

It says No LA on his jersey. Take the hint.

Your feelings about empowerment and sex work are utterly irrelevant. So are mine, and I’m a sex worker who likes my job. We don’t criminalize jobs because they’re not empowering enough.

nnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaah, not going to feel sorry for someone who mutilated a person’s genitalia

Because we literally segregate women from men in spores because of how they were born. It’s not that simple.

By not “going against them.” This isn’t about persecuting her. I feel bad for her.

“I honestly do not get the outrage here. If you are upset, we should just create one big open event, or let everyone compete in whichever group they identify as.”

How do you think Serena would do in a match against say, the #50 ranked male in Tennis?

Michael Phelps having a body tailored to swimming, or Shaq being a colossus, or Bolt being what he is, or Shumacher having the clinical reflexes and vision he had to win so many titles, or Messi being gifted with his otherworldy touch that no one else possesses-all those types of advantages don’t share one very

This is a silly argument, because there is no group above Michael Phelps to which people are arguing that Michael Phelps should instead belong. No one is saying that Michael Phelps should instead compete against, I dunno, dolphins. That would be sweet, though.

There’s a reason sports are divided by sex. That’s really the crux of this whole thing, and no matter where the line is drawn, it will not be “fair” for everyone.

I can only agree that some version of these rules should be put in place in every event. I do not run the IOC.

So a quick question that needs to be answered. Why do we segregate sports by sex? If you don’t understand why we do this, then I don’t think anyone should have an opinion on whether or not or even how Caster Semenya, or people like Semenya compete in sports.
