My feeling is, after having been assaulted numerous times, that the attackers didn't truly expect any resistance. Granted, I wasn't 7 the first time, I was 13, but damn did I scream bloody murder. I am sure there are attackers who are looking for the thrill of resistance, but they are probably not attacking in such a

This was mine, more or less.

I'm glad we're on the same page.

Yeah, but then you're just, you know, eating icing. And there is no governor motor for self-control. Seeing the little decapitated cupcakes all in a row is a reminder that yes, you have just consumed the Hobbit-sized vat of fat and sugar that once graced the part above the cupcake paper.

I thought cupcakes were just there to provide small cakey support to large individual helpings of frosting.

She kind of put the whole land mine issue on the map, media-wise, when not many people were talking about it. And the openness to being seen with and physical with AIDS patients in the late 80s and early 90s was actually pretty daring.

Sign me up.

Thank god, it's about time someone came up with some reasonable alternatives, especially for young men.

I'm not sure why it appears to be so difficult for people responding to my posts to get my point: This is not about birth control for me.

Exactly.

I'm not saying no birth control - read my post - but if it were any other issue, would you be so cavalier about having hormones administered to your child without your knowledge?

Excuse me, as a mom who supports (young) women's rights to their bodies, pro-choice, not anti-sex, etc, I would also be apoplectic if someone administered hormones to my daughter without informing me first. I mean, ragey, hormonal, murderously apoplectic. Stick hormones in my kid's body without my consent?! I don't

So, heavily processed, industrially produced foods that contain massive amounts of sodium for long-life and a bit of flavor are, in general, not good for you?

My understanding is that the gels are plant-based remedies, the pills are actually homeopathic remedies, i.e. one is not heavily diluted and the other is.

If it's in gel form, it's not homeopathic, it's a plant remedy. The difference is in the concentration.

Uh, it's France, doh. I love it here, but I have no illusions about gender stereotypes.

Yes. Gilles Lelouche is 'entering a tunnel', Jean Dujardin is 'going into a meeting'. Blerg.

That actually sounds completely logical. I must remember that tactic for all my future contracts.

I was picking up my kid from her local French primary school many years ago when I overheard a French mom picking up her kids plus a couple of neighbor kids.

Re: Ellen. One Million Moms, I suggest you just take your own acronym and OMMMMM right past this silly little hate-filled barricade you've decided to erect. There are, truly, better things for you to be worrying about. Omm.
