Most people who enjoy pranks really just enjoy bothering/hurting/scaring people. But good pranks are THE BEST. Good pranks are like good jokes in that they are only a success if everyone is laughing*.

I clicked on this because that’s the same general opinion I have of pranks, but I recall an interview I heard once on NPR with the guy whose job it was to get the famous people set up to do their Not My Job segments on Wait...Wait, Don’t Tell Me. I find very few pranks funny. Most of the time they are just mean.

Agreed on tougher repercussions for US Gymnastics. I would let US gymnasts compete under the Olympic flag because it would be unfair for the gymnasts themselves to be forced to sit out the Olympics after training so long and so hard for it. But no team USA, no American anthem, etc...

You do realize, that some of those ladies want continue their careers and would basically have to retire if US gymnastics took a ‘hiatus’ from the next Olympics? It’s more than 6 years since the Olympics after the next Olympics. That’s alifetime in gymnastics. Do you see them as collateral damage?
