Never said the ball pit would kill anyone, nor that ball pits weren't inherently fun. Just said it was full of bodily fluids and human waste. I'm sure you had a great time. I'm also sure that those balls were probably disinfected before you got there and after you left.

Sorry, just trying to inform the masses. Ball pits are cesspools.

I worked at a Discovery Zone! I was a party host, which I loved because it meant that I never had to clean the copious amounts of vomit, urine, and feces that invariably wound up in the ball pit on a daily basis. All ball pits are just toilets filled with brightly colored balls instead of water.

I actually stopped visiting Jez on a regular basis for that exact reason a few weeks ago. The only reason I'm here is because I was reading an article linked here. Reading this makes me glad I left in the first place.

Whenever someone uses "X is so not racist..." to begin a sentence, it's usually followed up by some pretty racist shit. He's just staying true to semantic form.

I just wanted to say, I only read this article for "muffin penis" because it sounds hilariously disgusting and now I can't stop picturing it. I swear I've seen one before, but unfortunately for both of us, it was one of those mini-muffins. If I wasn't questioning my sexuality before, I damn sure am now...

Not just that. He recruited help from a third party. That makes it even more psycho. "Hey bro? Yeah, some homeless guy flashed me a bad tattoo earlier today, you wanna go back with me and beat the shit out of him? Awesome."

My literal first thought was "Why is there only one black vagina?"

Yes. I had my Nigerian aunt tell me that I was "brave" for wearing my hair naturally and while she didn't like it she respected it. This this runs deep. And I'm right there with you on the PTSD. I live in the US as evidenced by my current events knowledge, it's pretty weird here right now. And by weird I mean hard

I would add the "almost" never caveat because if this summer between Trayvon and "Stop and Frisk" and the Voting Right's Act and countless other stories in the news and my personal life prove nothing else; it's that big, ugly, overt racism is alive and kicking in America and the world over, but you are correct in that

Read up on the history of blackface (it takes seconds to do a search that will net you literally millions of results about why it is ALWAYS racist and offensive) and the way that it was and still is used to dehumanize Black people and tell me it's not fucking racist again. I don't give two shits about the intentions

The Best Buy would take fridges and stock them with drinks and snacks, order pizzas and put giant bowls of candy behind our registers...to make up for the fact that we were chained to them for those 12-14 hours. The only thing I liked about the holidays, free candy.

He was very clear in his intent. His words speak for themselves. There is no arguing for "semantic misunderstanding" in the case of what he said. Leave me alone, white guy, I don't agree with you.

I used the wrong wording but you're arguing semantics is completely missing the point and I'm over this conversation. Have a nice evening.

Again, I didn't say our positions were different. Nor did I say anything about it changing for the worse. I never mentioned anything about the comedy or it's execution. This is a discussion about casting diversity. I think you need some help with reading comprehension. I think you're being deliberately obtuse

Not neccesarily. If you actually click through and read Issa's tweets you'd see that there was a time when she enjoyed SNL before it got lame. There was also a time I enjoyed SNL before I realized that their stock in trade is portraying every black female celebrity as either a trashy crazy drug addict or pretty

Issa Rae's got the right idea.

Also a skirt! Because who doesn't want to swing around Manhattan, flashing their vag to anyone who happens to be looking up? I know I do.

Corn doesn't grow on trees...
