I don’t think that’s quite it. Because policy wise, I don’t see much difference between Hillary and Bernie on women’s issues. They’re essentially identical in supporting women’s right to choose, equal pay, paid leave, etc.

In some ways, I think the second-wavers are afraid of this new wave of feminism, because we have broader interests than just women’s rights and women’s progress. Feminism has morphed into a multi-issue alliance of women, men, and everyone in between. That’s not super recognizable to the women who paved the way to get
