Saturn is definitely still a planet.

What’s on everyone’s Christmas list this year?
Mostly landscapes and nature photography, and would love to explore night photography, maybe mix in some “sports” photography, namely mountain biking. I have a Nikon D7100 and a Minnesota climate to deal with. I’m fine with ads and sponsorships and whatever else, it just seems like some publications are becoming 50%…
Any reccomendations on photography publications or blogs? I have a trial subscription of Popular Photography, which has a few things here and there, but seems to mostly be ads.
I wanted to use mine for this in addition to using it to display the weather, but the app store won’t work, so I’m stuck.
Unfortunitely I’ll be stuck working Friday, luckily not retail, but Minnesota’s state parks are top notch. I hope people take advantage of this.
I’ve really got into playing Ingress lately, and that’s free with no ads. Also the Slickdeals fourms/app is great.
It would be cool do some guides for specific devices that people have laying around, like this. Maybe it involves recycling some content and you could definitely adapt to a week long series. So take a an old Mac Mini, you guys publish 5-6 guides on what we can do with them. I’d assume HTPC, Network Storage, VPN, Web…
I’ve been running Windows 10 on my desktop PC for about a week now. Haven’t really dug into doing much more than web browsing, but would it be worth buying a microphone to get Cortana to work? Apparently the one embedded in my webcam isn’t sufficiant.
What sofware you’re using? I work at a small PBS station so I’ve been around teleprompters often enough, but we’re using Magic Scroll, and although it works fine for us it’s nice to know what someone who’s prompting full time is using.
As an aside, how do you like the Nexus Player? I’m considering getting one to replace my Roku XD which I love, but it’s showing it’s age. Plus Target has them on clearance for $24.99. The services I’m using currently are Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, Netflix, PBS, Youtube, and Redbull TV.
Which is seriously one of the best features for someone living in a cold snowy climate.
So is there a built in browser that just pulls the whole website into Reader? Or does it just link you to open it in Safari?
I’ve been away from the RSS game since Google Reader. Will this pull full articles from sources like Pocket does?
I just wish there were more mid-range Chromebook models. I don’t need a Pixel, but I also don’t want a heap of plastic with a small low-res 11 inch screen. Been leaning towards a Toshiba Chromebook 2 with, but Dell has a new model coming out in the coming weeks that may fit the bill as well. I think Lenovo just…
Unfortunitly the Toshiba Chromebook 2 is the crummy 768, 2gb version.

Social Fixer can no longer show who has unfriended you.
I would be very careful when ordering the G1W from sellers on Amazon and Ebay. It seems as if there are a lot of knock offs being passed around.

I have an old HP Touchpad, that I’m working on turning into a sort of passive screen in my office. What I would really like is a way to show weather forecast, gmail notifications, and maybe news headlines. I’d like this in a large full screen interface and again passive. So I’d see something on my tablet, and then…
