I don't think it would be too hard. That being said I have only a little bit of web design work so this will probably never come about, at least from me. I think the process would just be creating tags for every "how to" an then displaying them if all the necessary tags are met.

It would probably end up being category based like you have laid out. I think the hardest part would be compiling all of this onto one site that is somewhat encompassing.

I've been mulling over an idea for a website, and I just want to get some opinions from people. It would probably work even better as a weekly post on a site like Lifehacker. Basically you just list all the electronics you have, and it would give you projects you could do based on what components you have. For example
