HOW HAS NOBODY POSTED THE RADIAL GOGGOMOBIL YET!?

Oh, they know. And they don't care. Their bread is buttered by appeasing the 1% and the aging middle-class who just thinks: taxes, ugh…poor people, ugh.

Yes. But the Ford does have 10x the amount of buttons on the dash. That’s a lot of button value.

Got the whole Riker beard thing going.

Your post would be a great printed on a Jalopnik T Shirt!

I don’t throw the word ‘hero’ around lightly, but you sir, are a true American Hero. A hero of not reading things, and then telling us you didn’t.

I submit the following as evidence that Ford itself did worse to the poor Mustang:

There are a hell of a lot of Delehayes, Bugattis, Talbot-Lagos, Renaults, Citroens, and even probably some Peugeots in the running for that.

That’s not a reaction to the car. You actually have an issue with narcolepsy. Might want to see a doctor about that.

Really? In 1991 if you saw this car, you’re reaction would be ZZZZZZ?

That picture was put there next to the Miata concept for comparison purposes.

Look at the hp and torque not the displacement, because this 2015 not 1975. For comparison, my Dad’s ‘72 Chevelle Concours wagon had a 307 (that’s 5 liters) producing 107 hp...and it weighed quiet a bit more than a ‘16 ‘Bu.

160 hp and 184 lb-ft torque isn’t bad, esp with a 6-speed trans. And recall it’s the base engine of a generic FWD midsize, not a sports sedan.

70+ mph requires <40 hp to maintain speed, and <80 hp to get there. The only issue is that you have become accustomed to more power.

The 1.5T is perfectly adequate for the

The 1.5T has 160hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. That should be entirely adequate to haul this thing around. The 2012 Malibu weighed more than this ‘16 model, and had only 9 more hp, but 22 lb-ft of torque LESS. Out of 2.4L. No one thought that was inadequate.

If there is enough power to necessitate a wing, I won’t mind.

Ughh, Audi. I want to love you so much, but you make it so hard.
