@TheFu: I once read about something called a "drop nap," which seems to work for me. The idea is to nap with something in your hand. As you drift into deep sleep, your hand naturally relaxes and the item hits the floor, waking you up, end of nap.
I thought it interesting that the "easter egg" only shows up on the first page of the results.
@bakana: Soy is a complete protein (contains all the necessary amino-acids) and, in my experience, soy milk has more protein than cow-milk; it should more than meet the protein requirement. The "chocolate" will (still) satisfy your carbohydrates requirements.
@BishopBlaize: I usually drink chocolate milk after a run and reach for more protein after a weight session.
@BishopBlaize: It's the combination. The milk (protein) and chocolate (carbs) provide a near-optimum carbohydrate to protein ratio needed for recovery.
@BishopBlaize: first, let me say that i do NOT run barefoot, nor have i. i run using minimal shoes which allow me to run using the barefoot/chi/pose form. i've had a lot of success doing this, so i don't plan to change to strict barefoot running any time soon. now the good stuff...
@David Simpson: the theory goes that barefoot (aka minimal) running forces you to use your body's natural biomechanics (developed over millions of years of evolution) for injury free, efficient, low impact running.
I recommend the following books for people interested in trying minimal running:
My girlfriend, who is very smart and very thrifty, came up with a ziploc bag reuse system that I thought was pretty clever.
@m, @NorwoodIsMyHero: well then, do i have an attractive offer for you!? for only $19.99 a month, i will come over to your house once a day and punch you in the face, repeatedly, for an hour straight. but act fast as supplies are limited!
we ditched tv all together. how? will power.
if you know anyone who works at a hospital, ask them if they can round up some boxes.
why bother with the added weight?
I fry falafel at home, 3 at a time, in a small 2 qt pot. Since the pot is so small I don't have to use tons of peanut oil to completely cover them and they turn out golden and crispy every time. I've never been disappointed.
that info-graphic is quite possibly the worst i've ever seen.
@moe52: Swiss chard may also have a red or yellow stalk. The red ones look staggeringly similar to rhubarb.
Question: what kind of beer should you drink with your meal?
@moe52: Swiss chard (in my experience) has a red stalk, which is a lot like rubbarb in color.
