He has a sort of MCU of Books essentially. They all happen in the same universe, but on different planets with different magic systems/religions/genres of stories. (It’s called Cosmere)

You’re taking a really regressive stance towards the exploration of any subject ever. Ignoring tropes instead of engaging and subverting them means we get no actual critical eyes on anything. It means we leave the subject undiscussed and verboten.

As a fun aside there was an 8 bit version of Street Fighter 2' released on the Sega Master System in 1997.

I was fairly certain the point of TWD was from his perspective, his character arc. So like... if they finish that it kind of finishes TWD... O_o;;

“many black native New Orleanians have just given up on the city and are just biding their time until they find a job somewhere else or their kids graduate.”

It’s almost like single mothers don’t all suffer from depression or other mental health issues. Huh.

Deadpool Can Fuck Right Off: Or, Guys my humor is super sophisticated guys. Super. Like, I went to Harvard, all right? It’s very important you know how sophisticated I am and how interesting I am.

The funny thing about the trailer to me, is that it needs to be even -more- gonzo. I like the art direction they’re going with, with the hyper 80s-esque neon colors combined with the usual washed out browns of post apocalypse. It’s a good move to help set it apart.
However....

““Well, he just couldn’t learn how to talk.” Yes, but he has no problem talking over people in quantum theory class. Or political theory class. Or in the boardroom.””

Yeah the ride-sharing has absolutely turned into “private hail cabs” and Air-bnb is just “hotel houses” It’s a damn shame. There were some good ideas in there that just got pummeled into corporate profits.

Jefferson parish did a pretty decent thing by limiting Short Term rentals to Mixed zoning and Commercially zoned areas. Thus leaving the Residential Zoned stuff to renters and homeowners. I really liked their solution.

“ However, zoning laws do not affect how I presently use my personal residence (which is already built), and those ordinances don’t dictate to me whether or not I can use my house for an AirBNB”

Bisexual works. You’ll have to fight through a lot of insufferable biphobia if you use it, I mean, even here Kehlani avoids it for whatever reason. But yeah, Bisexual covers all the possible bases.

Damn that’s some well-spoken Racism. Feel Good?

Ah yes, Cultural appropriation. The boogieman of 2017. We gotta make sure we Other black folks as much as possible. It’s the only way we’ll know who the black people are.

Now playing

Oh christ people, come on. The Awesome bit has been done a lot, let’s not get pedantically up NDTs ass about it.

I really enjoy artists switching genres on songs. It can be fun to see how those same lyrics might shine or a whole other different emotional tone can be found. (Think Somewhere Over the Rainbow on Ukelele going from whistful to nostalgic and sad)
But this, god damn. I mean, its like someone did a parody of a song and

Runitblack failed a very important part of cutting a good promo: Don’t bury your opponent. If you bury them and win, well, it’s expected and you don’t gain anything out of it. You bury them and lose? You look like garbage.
Tim actually cut the proper promo, focusing mainly on himself with some good trash talk mixed in

Every time I read an article about Sanders and Race it devolves into the most calvinball-esque game of Gotcha! I’ve ever witnessed. The expert levels of pedantry we have to go through to get some sort of shade thrown his way is just... what are we doing? seriously. What is the endgame here? what’s the point?

“The interviewee’s personality, including the defensiveness and hostility she almost certainly radiates when interacting with other women given her assumption that they are jealous of her, never comes into play as a potential factor. But, in the words of Jack Donaghy, “In the bubble, no one ever tells you the truth.””
