I have a REALLY hard time buying that you get “1200 dollars” back from a front door replacement. I’ve been through the whole buying / selling a house thing a couple times, and the price is nowhere near thta well-thought out, and depends far more on comparable houses than a small improvement like that. I get that it’s

My second job we would have regular status update meetings and they were useful but some of the poeple would go off on tangents almost every time, so what should have been a 10-15 minute meeting would often turn into 30-45 minutes. And yet I’m the one that gets in trouble for falling asleep during the off-topic

YES! I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to do a quick verbal follow up on what seemed a simple email. Sometimes it’s just easier to have a 5 minute meeting to deal with something than bat it back and forth in email.

One thing I’ve found helps: If you accomplish a meeting’s goal early, don’t be afraid to end it early. I’ve got a 75-minute meeting every week, but our needs vary from week to week. Sometimes it involves serious brainstorming and problem-solving, sometimes it’s just a few status update, and sometimes it’s anywhere

Is this card blue or..... gold with white?

i hate this crap, I basically get guilt tripped every time I go on vacation. Typically I save all mine, and take an entire week or two off, and its pretty much understood that i’m to work OT in the weeks before leaving to catch up on all my work that i’ll be missing. Totally defeats the reasoning for taking a week

Won’t those need some nutrients eventually, though? It’s a hydroponic system after all. They’re bound to need some minerals at some point. Right?

They make it into a conference because developers get together and have panels on various topics, mostly regarding the software updates. Professionals want to hear about how the new features will work before they’re released. If you’re in the developer program, you can watch all of the WWDC videos online, and they are

Middle managers are DEATHLY afraid of making the wrong decisions, so they either make none, or kick it upstairs

lots of kabob talk here. I find them super easy to cook, the meat almost never over cooks for some reason maybe per the way its bunched up on there. I love em but never enough tips I guess. Half the time I dont have enough forethought to marinade an entire day before, Im lucky to get an hour in. But when I do

For meat kabobs, I recommend using flat metal skewers. I can’t say the exact reason why, but the meat has a different flavor when grilled/bbq’d with them. Also, round skewers just let everything move all over the place. The flat skewer makes turning the food a lot more simple.

I love you for this. I have avoided kebabs for quite some time because nothing kept them from charring. Can’t wait to give this a try!

Fuck as much as you can get it, because one day you won’t be able to...

From a mathematics perspective, yes.
