I think the regret is more tied to your current situation than the actual purchase (which accounts for the difference in views by age). But in general its a bloody mistake to look back at something you did with the eyes having done it, and blame yourself unless it was an obvious stupid move.

I despise the ‘outlets’ now as outlets. They are nothing more than outdoor malls with outlet quality stuff at mall prices.

Step 1, stop bitching about New Year’s Resolutions. Its ridiculous how negative people are about New Year’s resolutions, as if past failures means its OK to not keep trying. GTFO your high horse and be encouraging.

So short backstory, my mother in law (MIL) passed away recently and left a sizable chunk of money. We are trying to figure out the best place to put the money for our kids college funds, I am concerned that the college specific plans might be too punishing if one of the kids opts NOT to go to college (I’m not ‘pro’

The first item is hilarious to me because I took a stab at some sellers on Amazon for this. During the holidays I would visit Amazon’s “sales” page and sort by largest discount, then trim it to the categories that pertain to myself (where I KNOW the actual value). So there is a plastic stand for the Nintendo Switch

no...I have well over 200 apps...no reason to lie, I don’t get a trophy for having x number of apps. I was in line for the first iPad...that was what 7 years ago? So I’ve built up a high volume of apps over time. Most are games as the iPad splits duty between me, my 6 year old son, my wife, and to a lesser extent my

I actually do have over 100 that don’t work anymore. Do I use them every day, heck no, but it was frustrating updating before going out of town, bringing the iPad to use as a relaxation tool, only to find out that the majority of my stuff no longer worked and I was stuck using the popular stuff that was really on

The worst part though is the forcing to run iOS11 which has single handedly removed the ability to use at least a hundred apps I’ve owned since the first iPad.

This goes a bit further than just what was described. I apply this with everything, its the idea of double checking your point of view. Its easy where yo uare standing to say something without knowing or understanding where the other person is coming from. There are times when my wife blows up on me - 100%

I actually purchased this recently. It works well for our “Switch” station. Next to the TV we have a stand with the Switches and accessories, my PS Vita, the 2DS and a stand for charging all the tablets and phones when in the living room. All of that is powered from the tower while it also provides support for the

This is so much harder than some people realize. I’m overweight. I’ve fought it literally my whole life. Because of my height, some of it was hidden (when I was 10 I was 200 pounds, but also I was 5'10). There were so many mistakes along the way that I recognize as mistakes and I’m trying my best to get my kids to not

...so Amazon can tell me what type Blood I have with all the information gathering they do, yet I NEVER was contacted about an Anime add-on to my Prime service? The guy who watches regular TV with subtitles because he’s so used to them from anime? No WONDER it was a failing service...poor advertisement.

Small typo on Rubbermade Takealongs, the red set is showing $1 - link is for $13ish. Glad to see still on sale, my wife didn’t answer my question on getting them yesterday.

I like/agree with most of these. You can never make everyone happy, and what may seem like nothing to you can be a major slight to someone else. You have to develop tough skin and learn to find healthy criticism and learn to ignore or adjust to negative criticism. See if you can pierce through comments/reviews for a

Meh. Its not that NY Resolutions are bad, its that they are - as you pointed out “horribly executed”. The biggest issue IMO is they typically aren’t realistic. They are chosen without an actual plan and a study of that plan. It’s saying “I’m driving to Montana”, when you have no car, no GPS, no map. If you want to

I’m not “really” the resolution type, however before the holidays we had been changing up our diet bit by bit as we recorrect what has personally been a difficult two years for the family. Coupled with new Xmas Kitchen gear we are...

Oh yeah there is a 2D layout at the ones I’ve gone to, but if you aren’t accustom to the theater, you don’t know what height they are or anything. Hell when I saw TLJ - I chose the row that was damn near the middle of the theater, only to walk in and find out that I was actually mostly up front, and not where I really

I don’t smoke, and not big on co-branding like this, HOWEVER, I approve this and hope they move forward. Frankly I like the idea of simply having a diverse set of food in a combo ‘period’.

So I wrote a post going against the reality of the list, but it would be better served giving a realistic recommendation.

Because you don’t always know where you want to seat until you get IN the theater. You don’t know who you are sitting next to. Imagine wanting to see a family movie today and having to pick a seat, not knowing if you will be sitting next to a row of kids who will be constantly getting up to go to the bathroom or
